  • An ultrasound (also called sonography) is a safe, non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to create pictures of the inside of the body.

    How It Works:

    An ultrasound machine uses a transducer, which is placed on the skin. It sends out sound waves that bounce off organs and tissues. Those echoes are turned into real-time images on a screen.

  • This is a medical test using ultrasound to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor health conditions.

    • Ordered by a healthcare provider (doctor, NP, etc.)

    • Used to detect or monitor medical issues

    • Requires a referral or script

    • Images are reviewed by a radiologist

    • Results are used for medical decision-making

  • This is a non-medical, voluntary service ultrasound done for personal interest or reassurance—not for diagnosis.

    Key points:

    • No referral required

    • Not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions

    • Often focused on experience or wellness

    • Results are not used for medical decisions

    Examples:

    • 3D/4D baby ultrasounds for bonding

    • Gender reveal scans

    • Baby Ultrasounds

     

  • A screening ultrasound is a scan performed to look for potential issues before symptoms are present. It’s used as a preventive or early detection tool.

    • Considered an Elective General Wellness Scan

      • Done without symptoms

      • Used for early detection or peace of mind

      • May be recommended based on age, risk factors, or routine health checks

      • Can sometimes lead to further diagnostic testing if something is found

    • We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, HSA/FSA and checks.

    • Checks returned are subject to a $25 returned payment fee

    • Credit cards are subject to a $5 processing fee

    • Currently, we are only strictly self-pay and not accepting private insurances.

    • We do offer “Super Bill” which can be submitted to insurance companies for re-imbursement.

  • Unfortunately, at this time, we do not accept any for of insurance, we are a self pay facility only.

  • A superbill is a detailed receipt used in healthcare that allows a patient to submit a claim to their insurance company for reimbursement after paying out-of-pocket for services.

  • All fees are included in the price listed on the site.

  • Yes, all of information is safe and secured and regulated with HIPPA compliance.

  • Yes, family is encourage for elective studies! The room is limited to 4 people at a time. (children included)
