Independent Look is a technologist-owned and operated outpatient ultrasound imaging facility located in Wilkes Barre, PA. We provide general, ob/gyn, vascular diagnostic ultrasounds as well as elective 3D/4D OB/Baby ultrasounds and screening ultrasounds.

​All exams are performed by registered technologist through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and all diagnostic ultrasounds are read by board certified radiologists.

Amy Jackson, RDMS RVT

Owner/Technologist

Hi — I’m Amy. I’m the owner/technologist here at INDEPENDENT LOOK with over 8+ years of experience working in hospitals, outpatient clinics, mobile ultrasound services and private offices. I launched this practice out of a simple belief: ultrasound imaging should never lose sight of the person inside the exam room.

This business is also my answer to building something of my own — a practice rooted in community service and excellent care. After years working for others, I wanted to create a different kind of ultrasound experience: one that feels warm, private, and personal.

Throughout my experiences, my passion, and love for ultrasound grew tremendously, I take PRIDE in my career choice, and I’m very proud of the technologist I am today. I will take the time to listen, explain, and provide a supportive experience from the moment you walk through our doors. My goal is not just to deliver high-quality ultrasounds, but to also ensure every client feels seen, heard, and cared for.

Hi — I’m Alyssa!

I am the front desk office manager.

I enjoy interior design, diamond art, and relaxing with my favorite TV shows. I’m on my journey to become an ultrasound sonographer, and I chose to join this team because of the supportive, client-focused environment and the opportunity to learn and grow.
